"It was a big time for him rising to the challenge, and it's been great for him to keep gaining experience," Maye said of the rookie. "He desires to be great."
Fields connected with Metchie toward the end of the third period to close the gap for the visitors but Borregales booted a two kicks in the fourth quarter as the home side closed out the victory
